The Eagle Eye Bird Skip – Wind Driven is an innovative rotating bird deterrent developed specifically to protect flat and low-pitched surfaces where conventional bird-proofing systems such as bird spikes and bird wiring are often impractical, ineffective or visually intrusive.
Designed and engineered by Eagle Eye Bird Control, the Bird Skip provides a humane, maintenance-friendly solution that physically discourages birds from landing, roosting and nesting without causing them any harm.
Powered entirely by the wind, the Bird Skip uses two lightweight HD composite fibreglass arms that rotate around a precision-engineered central bearing assembly. The continuous movement creates a constantly changing physical barrier that prevents birds from settling while requiring no electricity, batteries or external power source.
The Bird Skip is designed primarily for horizontal surfaces and is suitable for installation on surfaces with slopes of up to a maximum of 30 degrees, depending on the application.
Unlike bird spikes or bird wiring, the Bird Skip requires no extensive fixing system across the protected area. A single unit is simply installed in the centre of the problem area, where the rotating arms provide continuous protection over a large coverage area.
